About Me

Technical Sound Designer with 25+ years across games, film, and live broadcast. I build audio systems, not just sounds-from custom C++ implementations in Unreal Engine 5 to serverless backend infrastructure for live games.

Background

I started in the Amiga demoscene in Sweden in the 1990s as a member of The Black Lotus (TBL)-a Nordic group whose productions include "Tint" (1st at The Gathering 1996) and 80+ tracker music compositions. That's where I learned that great creative work comes from deep technical understanding. Alumni from the group now work at studios like DICE, Ubisoft and Hazelight.

From there, I moved into broadcast and film. I've done the title theme and sound effects for Melodifestivalen-Sweden's biggest live TV event-for 22 consecutive years. I also worked on films, including TAU which earned me an MPSE Golden Reel nomination for Sound Effects Editor.

In the 2010's, I started shifting into games. I worked on BATALJ, a strategy game where I did all 1,600+ FMOD events and wrote eight music tracks solo. Then I joined Spinoff Games as both a one-person audio team and developer. We started as a two-person team that grew Disc Golf Valley to a million installs.

Most recently, I was at Moon Rover Games as sole audio lead on a UE5 co-op shooter. I did all sound effects and music, built all custom C++ audio systems. Weapon audio, music, voiceover, the works. I also created Metasound Playground, a tool that lets you preview spatial audio without entering Play mode.
